Leonard S. Hoffman, M.D., Board Member

Dr. Leonard S. Hoffman brings decades of pediatric care and specialized allergy and asthma experience to his role as a board member of Patient Always First.

Currently in private practice in Houston, Leonard also serves as director of the Pediatric Allergy Clinic at University of Texas Medical School in Houston as clinical professor.

A graduate of Tulane University, Leonard attended the University of Texas (U of T) Medical School in Galveston, Texas, and attended the Johns Hopkins Hospital Pediatric training program for his internship and residency followed by his allergy specialty training in Denver at the National Jewish Hospital/National Asthma Center.

After receiving specialized training in allergy and asthma in Seattle at the University of Washington/ Seattle Children’s Hospital, he served in the military as Chief of Allergy of the 6th Army at Madigan General Hospital, at Ft. Lewis, Wash. Upon completion of his service, he returned to his hometown of Houston as Clinical Instructor in the Pediatric Department at Baylor, before beginning a private practice in Southwest Houston and assuming his duties at the Pediatric Allergy Clinic at U of T.

Leonard is Board Certified by the American Academy of Allergy and the American Board of Pediatrics, as well as the Sub-Board of Pediatric Allergy.
